PRESIDENT’S LETTER

Don’t forget to vote in the primary election!  While we know that George W. Bush is a lock, there are some contested races as well as some very important propositions.  Get out there and VOTE!

Tom Campbell will be the featured speaker at the Lincoln Dinner.  It will be held on Friday, March 19th at the Doubletree Hotel.  Look for the flyer elsewhere in this newsletter.  This is a good way to support our Central Committee and the work it does to help elect Republicans.

Our February meeting was great.  We enjoyed hearing from some of the candidates State Senate and Assembly.  We thank them for taking the time to come and address our organization.  Please note: We cannot accommodate last-minute speakers without prior approval of the president.

Start thinking about coming to Lobby Day and Advocacy on April 26th and 27th. It’s nice to be together with our fellow Republican Women from all over the Northern Division for a common purpose.  The day of visiting Democrat legislators is great fun.  With all of us wearing red jackets or sweaters, we really stand out.  As they say, “Republican women are OUTSTANDING!”  If you do nothing else this year, please come to Lobby Day and Advocacy.  You will love it and we can make a difference!

Let’s get out and help our Republican candidates.  The objective is to win in November and the time to start is now.
