MELP Book List 2017

The 2016-2017 theme chosen by the NFRW Literacy and Education Committee

The Future We Remember makes it possible to explore a plethora of book titles for the Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP). There appears to be a lack of knowledge today about how this country was formed and why it came into being. What were the motivations of the Founders? Who were they, and what happened to them? What impact did they have on this country? Who were the individuals who built the foundation of this country, a foundation that is consistently being reinforced by newer generations? Who are the individuals that have inspired this country? We have selected books for all ages. The NFRW Literacy and Education Committee encourages clubs to establish Committees of Discussion (book clubs) and Committees of Correspondence (letters to editors/blogs.)Thank you for your participation in MELP. What you do does make a difference!
